As part of a new partnership with Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland, your Casey County Public Library will be a second distribution spot for the Summer Food Program meal pickup this summer!
If you can’t make it to the Wednesday pickup through the school district, you’ll now have a second chance on Friday through your library. Meal distribution will be every Friday through August 22, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Boxes will include seven days’ worth of meals and are available at no cost to the families. Children who are currently enrolled in any of the schools in Casey County, or children who are attending camp in the county this summer, qualify for this program. Families who receive meals during the Wednesday distribution are not eligible to receive another box during the Friday distribution.
Pre-registration is recommended but not required. All meal boxes are first come, first served unless registered in advance. To register each week, call the library at (606) 787-9381 or fill out this Google Form.
