While many services are available without a card, obtaining a library card will allow you to take advantage of all of our circulating collections, including books, movies, games, puzzles, and activities.
The application process is easy, and there’s no cost! Simply stop by your library or visit the Bookmobile to get signed up.
Casey County Residents
Casey County residents who are 18 years of age or older will need to provide some form of personal identification that proves they are a resident of Casey County. This must include either a photo ID with an Casey County address, or a photo ID plus a piece of mail with a matching name and Casey County address.
Those between the ages of 14 and 17 can sign themselves up for a limited access card to check out books only.
Those under 14 years of age may be issued a library card only if a parent or legal guardian guarantees responsibility for materials borrowed on the juvenile’s card.
Residents of Neighboring Counties
Residents in other counties are eligible to sign up for a Casey County Public Library card if they have a library card in good standing from their home library. Proof of identity will still be required.
Out-of-State Residents
Out-of-state residents who are temporarily residing in Casey County can apply in person for a one-year Non-Resident card, which has an annual $10 fee.
