Around this time in 1976, the Library was just getting its start. It’s come a long, long way in 50 years – and it’s time to celebrate! Learn the history of the Library and the Bookmobile with displays and interactive activities, “check out” an important figure from the Library’s past or present with the Living Library and hear their story, join in sealing the Library 10 year time capsule, and more! Sealing of the Time Capsule
Want to include a letter or small object in the time capsule? You can! Bring your submission to the day of the event, OR drop it off at the Library starting on September 1st. All submissions require your name. Items (other than letters) must fit in a quart size ziplock, and include a brief description of what the item is and why you would like to submit it to the time capsule.
