History isn’t going to make itself – it needs people like you!
Leave your mark on history in this genealogy-based group. This session, we’ll be hosting a wonderful one-woman-show on the life of Mary Todd Lincoln! Catherine Gaffney will be doing a live, in-character presentation as the wife of Abraham Lincoln.
“Mary Todd Lincoln lives again in actress Catherine Gaffney’s talented and engaging portrayal, sponsored by the Kentucky Humanities Council. With the help of Bo List’s masterful script, Gaffney gives a convincing depiction of this fascinating personality, Mary Todd Lincoln, who was both influential and controversial, even in her own time. The result was an audience’s delight. We became Mrs. Lincoln’s confidants as she prepares for a night out with the President. A theatrical experience of the highest quality!” – E. M. Miller
